Dress Code

We gather each day at St. Michael’s to build a vibrant community through shared learning, growth, and meaningful work. Our dress code is one of the ways we help create an environment where every student feels a sense of belonging and school pride. For the 2026-27 school year and beyond, St. Michael’s will be implementing a school uniform. More information may be found below.

While it is preferable that families purchase directly from Lands’ End to ensure items meet our uniform dress code requirements, we recognize that families may choose to shop elsewhere. If an item is indistinguishable from the approved Lands’ End version, it will meet dress code expectations. With cooler weather approaching, please remember that sweaters/cardigans, vests, quarter-zips, and fleeces worn with uniforms must be cobalt blue, white, or navy, or St M spiritwear fleeces and sweatshirts.

Please note that ALL St. Michael’s students will be required to have one cobalt blue long-sleeved polo with the St. Michael’s logo for Special Dress days. Our first Special Dress date is coming up on October 28 for All Saints Chapel. Please mark your calendars for Special Dress days on:

October 28 — All Saints Chapel
November 18 — Thanksgiving Chapel
February 10 — Ash Wednesday Chapel
March 31 — Easter Chapel
June 2 — Closing Chapel
Specified field trips, as communicated by grade

We are also pleased to continue our Spiritwear Fridays, when students may wear any St. Michael’s spiritwear shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie (i.e., above the waist spiritwear items) with uniform bottoms.
