Magic Dragon Day, St. Michael’s beloved annual spring fair is almost here! Sponsored by St. Michael’s Parents’ Association, Magic Dragon Day is held each year on the first Saturday in May. Join us for the 55th Magic Dragon Day, Saturday, May 4, 2024, for a day of family fun with the kindergarten Maypole dance spirited Blue and White tug-of-war and field games, carnival-style class booths, inflatables, and concessions. Mark your calendars for this time-honored tradition. It is a great day to be a Dragon!

TICKETS & WRISTBANDS
Avoid long lines and pre-order your 2024 MDD tickets and wristbands. Each ticket order contains 20 tickets for your Dragon to use towards class blooths, Dragon Walk, Flair Lair, inflatables, and more! Use your wristband ALL DAY for unlimited play at the inflatable attractions.

Pre-purchased tickets and wristbands will be sent home with your youngest child on an early spring date TBA. Additional tickets and wristbands will be available for purchase at MDD.

BLUE AND WHITE BACKERS
Blue and White Backers help offset the cost of this school-wide event and enable the SMPA to host fantastic events for the entire St M community throughout the year, including Back to School Movie Night, Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting, and Teacher Appreciation Week. In appreciation, your family or business name will appear on our event signage.

2024 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (tentative)

SATURDAY, MAY 4: MAGIC DRAGON DAY (RAIN OR SHINE)
Wear your MDD t-shirt and blue or white to show your spirit and excitement for MDD!

  • 9:30 a.m. — Blessing and the Kindergarten Maypole Dance
  • 10 a.m. — Field Games
  • 11 a.m. — Alumni Tug-of-War; Class booths, inflatables, and concessions open
  • 1 p.m.MDD concludes and clean-up begins

PARKING

IMPORTANT: For safety reasons, the Singleton Campus past the main gates WILL BE CLOSED to through traffic and parking, with the exception of kindergarten families (as they need to arrive early for Maypole preparations), and those in need of accessible parking.

Magic Dragon Day attendees should all park on the campus of Trinity Episcopal School and follow the signs to the walking trail to the St. Michael’s campus. We will have ample signage directing attendees. (Parking map coming soon)

Thank you for helping us be good neighbors by NOT parking in Traylor Estates, on any neighbors’ lawns, or blocking driveways or traffic flow.
