60s 70s Day
Seventh graders are immersed in history during St. Michael’s annual celebration of the 60s and 70s. Following classroom study of the time period, students spend a day learning to do macramé, tie dye, and work with leather. They also play games and learn dances popular at that time.

Middle School
The Middle School curriculum is a challenging academic program that prepares students for high school. Teachers strive to inspire and encourage intellectual curiosity and academic achievement. Daily instruction is given in language arts, history, math, and science. Spanish is taught once a week in sixth grade, three days a week in seventh grade, and daily in eighth grade.
The middle school experience includes competitive sports, a wide range of clubs, and extracurricular activities. Enrichment classes include computer, art, leadership, speech, values, physical education, music, reading and math enrichment, and study skills.
Key Features:
- Our Honor Code is integral to the middle school program.
- Religion and values are stressed in class and through chapels and service projects.
- Study halls and after-school tutorials are available to students who need extra help.
- Student writing and artwork are showcased in the literary magazine and newspaper, published by our middle school students.
- Each student is involved in a club which meets twice a week during the school day. Students have a variety of choices each semester.
- The Student Council Association coordinates social activities.
