Lower School Kindergarten Through Fifth Grade
The Lower School offers students a traditional academic program, emphasizing phonics, reading and language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, research skills and creative writing. The curriculum is academically challenging and prepares students for middle school.
Classroom instruction is enhanced by field trips, group projects and hands-on experiments designed to spark students’ imaginations and to develop inquisitive minds. Enrichment classes include music, art, physical education, library, computer, religion and Spanish (beginning in fourth grade). Extracurricular activities include band, choir, field hockey, basketball and FIRST LEGO League robotics.
