St. Michael's Episcopal School strives to provide children with superior academic instruction in an environment that acknowledges and develops Christian values.

Lower School (K-5)

The Lower School offers students a traditional academic program, emphasizing phonics, reading, and mathematics, as well as social studies, science, research skills, and creative writing. The curriculum is academically challenging and prepares students for middle school.

Classroom instruction is enhanced by field trips, group projects, and hands-on experiments to spark students’ imaginations and intellects, and to develop inquisitive minds. Enrichment classes include music, art, physical education, library, computer, religion, and Spanish (beginning in fourth grade).

Extracurricular activities include string ensemble, band, choir, field hockey, and basketball.
